Seeing as it’s been raining alllll day and it’s a Monday (boo), I thought I’d put together a couple of bits I’ve been loving over the past couple of weeks. My end of summer favourites consist of a couple of fashion bits and some beauty products that are making my skin dreamier by the day! Enjoy!
- Missguided/Boohoo free or £1 next day delivery & various other discount codes which are ALWAYS on the site
I’ve been doing a lot of online shopping recently, I mean A LOT. So much so, that my Dad asked me which bits were going back (I think he assumed I’d ordered loads to see what I liked then would send the rest back, uhhem, not the case father). Whether it’s been last minute summer holiday bits or a night out outfit, I’ve been loving the copious amounts of discount codes available on Boohoo and Missguided. They’re nearly always running discount codes for 20% off tops for example or a code for free next day delivery, making online shopping even more enjoyable. I am impressed.
- THESE nearly Valentino ALDO espadrilles
I saw these little beauties when I was in Portugal but didn’t pick them up at the time (was struggling for space in the case!). When I got home I went online to Selfridges and saw a V similar pair by Valentino, at that point I thought the ALDO dupes were even more worth buying and they were in the sale (£24.95 FYI). Thank goodness I go back to Portugal next month so I can get some real wear out of them before summer is over!
- Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
So what if I’m late to the party on this one, now I’ve discovered it I don’t think I’ll go back. If you’re one of the few people who hasn’t tried it, the only way I can describe it, is that it makes my face feel like a spa when I’ve used it. The level of clean your face feels afterwards is not something that other cleansers can achieve.
- Origins Renewal Serum and GinZing eye cream
Last week when I got back from holiday I was really poorly so wasn’t at work for two days and I think this was when the online shopping began… I read about the renewal serum on Fashion Mumblr’s post about skincare in your 20’s and I loved the way it was described as being for skin that wasn’t quite ready for anti-aging products. It’s designed for skin that’s looking a bit dull where the texture isn’t at its best which I’m sure we can all relate to. So despite it’s £32 price tag (feelunique had a discount on it so I got it for £28, not bad, not bad) I’m enjoying using it so far. My skin does feel softer and I can feel my make up sitting better throughout the day – the dream.
While I was browsing the Origins products on feelunique, I came across the GinZing eye cream and I’m so glad I did. I’ve never really bothered with an eye cream but when it’s labeled ‘to brighten and de-puff’ I couldn’t not put it in my basket. I don’t really have tired or puffy eyes but you what’s better than prevention?
- Pointy lace up flats – Missguided
My boyfriend’s worse nightmare when it comes to shoes apparently. He says they look like they should have a heel but I adore them. They’re perfect with ankle grazing trousers and I can imagine they’ll look super cute with tights and a dress in the winter. (They’re blue in the link but I got them in black!)
- Amazing Cosmetics concealer
I can’t even describe how life changing this concealer is! If you’re sick of wishy washy concealers that wear thin throughout the day, I suggest you invest asap. It’s thick, creaminess stays put highlighting your under eye to perfection and another thing, you literally only need the tiniest dot of this. It goes SO far I’ve already had mine a couple of weeks and I don’t think I’ve even made a dent in the tube so for £20 it’s well worth it.
So these are my current obsessions, 2 pairs of shoes and a some delicious beauty products! I hope I’ve passed my online shopping problem onto you because I really need to stop now!
As you can probably tell, I still haven’t bought a new camera 🙁 It all just got so painful I gave up but I’m still planning on getting one eventually. Any help would be much appreciated!
